TRAIN CHASERS is not just a group, it's a family group. We treat all of our members as family. We lookout for one another and make sure they enjoy what they love and that is trains.
Our Story
TRAIN CHASERS is a rail enthusiast group from the upstate of South Carolina. It was created in January of 2015 by a father and his son along with a friend. Then name TRAIN CHASERS was thought of by Gregg Langston and he said, ( Storm Chasers is about chasing tornadoes and TRAIN CHASERS can be about chasing trains ). His son Brandon and friend Cody Ledford created the group and page on Facebook for sharing photos and videos of trains for the public.
Meet The Team
Gregg Langston
1960 - 2022
( Founder of TRAIN CHASERS )
Mr. Langston was a family man who loved his family and friends. He was also a railroad fan since he was kid. His favorite locomotive was the N&W 611. In 2015, him and his son and friends chased the 611 from Spencer, NC to Roanoke, VA as a father and son trip so they could enjoy something they loved together.
Brandon Langston

Brandon has been a train fan all his life. His parents & grandparents always bought him toy trains. Later on he noticed on YouTube that people posted train videos and wanted to become a railfan as well so he could watch and photograph trains and post them on the internet.
Kimberly Walker

Kimberly joined TRAIN CHASERS after meeting her new boyfriend Brandon back in 2020. She has loved trains since she was a kid. Her favorite railroads are Union Pacific & Norfolk Southern because of the American flag and horses.
Shelton Jones

Shelton Jones has been a member of TRAIN CHASERS since the beginning. He has loved trains all his life. His father was part of the railroad while working with the track gang by repairing tracks for a safe railroad. Shelton is also a member of the Central Railway Museum & the N&W Roanoke Division Model Railroad group.
Bob Folsom

Bob Folsom has been a member of TRAIN CHASERS since 2018 and train fan since he was a kid. Mr. Folsom was born in 1938 and lived in Chicago, IL for a number of years and moved to South Carolina with his wife in the 1990s. He has been a member of the Central Railway Museum since it began and is also the owner of the N&W Roanoke Division Model Railroad.
Ananias Cunningham

Ananias Cunningham is a family man who loves spending time with family & friends and is a very helpful person. Ananias has been a train fan all his life and he travels to see trains all over the eastern United States. He has been a member of TRAIN CHASERS since 2017 and is now sharing photos and videos on the internet.
